Forty word review grew from two things.
1) A love of books and reviewing
2) A need to challenge myself and trying something new.
I had blogged and reviewed as part of other teams for a few years and finally felt like I was ready to fly free and go it alone, but I wanted to do something different. I didn't know what, just something that I hadn't done before.
Reading through my old reviews, I thought to myself "wow, I talk a lot". I would write paragraph after paragraph when sometimes, everything I wanted to say could be said in a few lines. And so my idea was born.
All of my reviews have to be forty words or less! Which might sound easy but for someone who could go on as much as I do. Limiting myself to just forty words is a challenge.
